The sound effects are so crisp and authentic that I actually felt like I was holding the real thing, and the electronic response when you twist the top is instant. The blue light in the tip is bright enough to clearly see even in a lit room, which made my afternoon of pretending to save the universe

The click and extension feel are spot-on, and the light-up tip is bright enough to actually use in a dim room. It's got a nice heft to it, not flimsy at all, and the electronic sounds really sell the whole experience.

I've owned a few sonic props over the years, but this one finally nails the weight and solidity of the Twelfth Doctor's version. The activation sequence feels properly responsive, and I love that the glowing tip has that anodized blue tint under the light. It's already earned a permanent spot on my
